nice words about dish!

I went with my daughter and sister-in-law to the sustainable fish class led by Lisa Paul last night. My sister-in-law is an accomplished cook and is keen to help my daughter catch the cooking bug. So last night was a 21st birthday present to which I tagged along and I must say a great success.

The team led by Lisa was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and clearing committed to sharing their passion. We got to dice, slice and cook, got exposed to new ideas and concepts and then we ate way too much delicious fish, the result of ours and others efforts. Lisa really demonstrated the importance of ingredients along with technique.

The (long) ride home was spent talking about sustainability, how cool the class was and from my point of view the most important topic—when can we do another one?

It was an enjoyable evening and we will look to coming back.
