EVENT FORMATS


HANDS ON

The original Dish cooking experience for groups of all sizes, Hands On cooking events allow guests to cook alongside their friends and colleagues before enjoying a delicious Dish menu. A typical Hands On event starts with wine* and canapés **, followed by some collaborative cooking and finally, a sit-down, full-service, multi-course meal.

3-Course Meal – 2.5 hours (DAYTIME)

Start Time:  From 10am

Prices:

  • $1700 flat rate (8 to 11)
  • $150 per person (12 to 24)
  • $125 per person (25 to 40)
  • $100 per person (41 to 60)

4-Course Meal – 3 hours (EVENING)

Start Time:  From 5pm

Prices: 

  • $2000 flat rate (8 to 11)
  • $175 per person (12 to 24)
  • $150 per person (25 to 40)
  • $125 per person (41 to 60)

INTERACTIVE DEMO

Sit down at our Chef’s Table for a social, yet educational culinary experience. Learn tricks from the pros and immerse yourself in the chef’s demonstration where it's up to you to get your hands dirty and help, or just sit back and observe. A typical Interactive Demo cooking event starts with wine* and canapés, followed by tips and techniques from our Chefs and finally, a sit-down, full-service, multi-course meal.

3-Course Meal – 2.5 hours (DAYTIME)

Start Time:  Between 10am and 1pm

AROUND THE WORLD

Ideal for larger groups, Dish’s Around the World events offer the ultimate in flavour discovery from Southern Europe to South East Asia to South America and back. A typical Around The World cooking event starts with wine* and canapés, followed by a rotation through multiple chef demonstrations and flavour explorations, and finally, a decadent Dish dessert platter. Craft your own, personalized world tour from our various menu options. 

4 to 5 Cooking Stations – 3 hours (EVENING or DAYTIME)

Start Time: Evening: From 5pm / Daytime: 10am to 1pm

Prices:

  • $150 per person (25 to 40)
  • $125 per person (41 to 60)

IRON CHEF

Stir up some friendly competition with Dish’s Iron Chef cooking event. Choose your protein (chicken, beef or fish) and we'll choose the secret ingredient. A typical Iron Chef event starts with wine* and canapés, followed by some culinary rivalry featuring the secret ingredients (the Dish chefs will prepare the appetizer and dessert courses in advance using this same secret ingredient). And finally, once the cooking is completed, the group will enjoy a sit-down, full-service, 3-course meal, tasting both teams’ creations. The Dish chefs will judge each main course on creativity, taste and presentation and the winning team will be awarded a prize.

PAY-IT-FORWARD

Connect to the community through cooking. Using the same format as our Hands On events, groups will prepare a delicious 3-course meal composed of delicious comfort food, with enough to share to with a charity or shelter of your choice.

  • $175 per person (12 to 24);
  • $150 per person (25 to 40)

WINE OFFERINGS

Dish is proud to offer an exclusive wine list for our valued corporate and private clients. Or, bring your own wine. The bottle corkage fee is determined by number of guests. Please be aware any opened bottles cannot be removed from the premises. Corkage fee applies only to wine. Guests may not bring their own liquor.

Sommelier services available upon request.

BAR SERVICE

Dish is happy to provide a full bar service to complement your event. A bartender is required for groups over 24+ guests and will be charged hourly, for a minimum of 4 hours.

PAYMENTS DETAILS

15% service and co-ordination fee and HST will be applied to all corporate and private classes.

Deposit: all corporate and private class bookings will be confirmed with a 75% non-refundable deposit upon reservation date.

Final payment: clients are provided a final invoice within 48 hours following the event and the balance is due upon receipt.
