No more watching the food channel, it’s time to get your hands dirty! The dish kitchen is an action-packed classroom where teens measure, chop, sift, and sauté their way to new found knowledge and passion for food.  Designed with teens in mind, students are actively engaged in the cooking process from start to finish.  Led by one of our culinary instructors, each class will have a themed menu that each teen will prepare, enjoy and add to their repertoire of meals to prepare on their own.  You will learn the basics for working in any kitchen; health and safety, knife skills, scaling ingredients, nutritional food preparation, and the joy of cooking.

French Inspired Menu:

Thyme + Gruyere Gougeres: Choux Pastry with Mixed Greens + Vinaigrette

Croque Monsieur: Ham + Cheese, Homemade Frites

Apple Cinnamon Crepes, Salted Caramel, Chantilly Cream + Pecan Crunch
